Tristar Group Wins Prestigious Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA)
Tristar Group Chief Administrative Officer Nagabhushan Balaji (2nd left) and Business Excellence Manager Mohan Dharmarajan received the Silver Award under the Services Category from Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrouie (left), Chairman of the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Saeed Abdul Jalil Al-Fahim (right), Chairman of SKEA Higher Committee.
SKEA was launched by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) way back in 1999 as a blue print, a roadmap and a methodology for continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the Business Sector in Abu Dhabi and the UAE using the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model. The EFQM model provides a framework allowing organizations to determine their current ‘level of excellence’ and where they need to improve their efforts. The model also helps to ensure that business decisions incorporate the needs of all stakeholders and are aligned with the organization's objectives.
“Tristar as a company has established the three pillars People, Processes and Systems which help in continuous improvement. The feedback report from the SKEA Awards office will further help us identify our strengths & areas of improvement which will help us in our march towards excellence ” said Nagabhushan Balaji.
