Global energy logistics leader Tristar Group is promoting the theme of the 2024 World Maritime Day, ‘Navigating the future: safety first!’, by sponsoring the Safety at Sea Conference to be held on November 7 in Dubai.
According to Tristar Group CEO Eugene Mayne, the aim of the Safety at Sea Conference is to increase dialogue and raise global awareness to promote seafarer safety and welfare. “We are delighted to see organisations across the maritime industry prioritising safety and supporting the Conference,” explained Mr. Mayne.
The Conference agenda includes discussions and workshops, with the objective to take forward key areas to improve safety, which impacts every other part of a company’s business performance. The 6th edition of the Tristar ‘Safety at Sea’ Conference will be held on November 7 in Dubai. In attendance will be prominent ship owners, managers, insurers, government representatives and other industry leaders. As per previous editions, the event will be livestreamed around the world. In the 2023 event, participants livestreamed-in from vessel mess rooms and gatherings in India, the Philippines and Myanmar.

Dubai headquartered Tristar Group has released its annual sustainability report for the 12th year in succession, encompassing its operations and activities around the globe. Group CEO Eugene Mayne launched the Tristar 2023 Sustainability Report at the company’s head office in Jebel Ali which coincided with two events: celebration of World Environment Day and implementation of The Climate Fresk, a workshop that teaches fundamental science behind climate change.

Tristar Group CEO Eugene Mayne and Tristar KSA County Manager Dr. Aous Ali attended the 2024 Suppliers Recognition Ceremony at the SABIC headquarters in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, where they received a memento for outstanding performance and significant contributions in 2023. The event was organised by SABIC’s Procurement team under Shared Services, and recognised approximately 40 companies among hundreds of suppliers.

Tristar KSA of energy logistics company Tristar Group recently commissioned its fleet and warehouse for the safe transporting and storage of ChampionX products. ChampionX is a global leader in oil and gas production chemistries, delivering cutting edge technology, unwavering supply assurance, and critical problem solving in a safe, cost effective, and environmentally focused way.
A senior ChampionX supply chain and management team, led by Steve Thomas, recently visited the Tristar KSA facility at the Modon second industrial city in Dammam, to inspect the fleet and dangerous goods (DG) warehouse, which has a storage capacity of 10,000 pallets.
The fleet includes stainless-steel tankers, which are equipped with an operating box or pump room installed at the rear of the vehicle instead of at the bottom of the tankers.
